SA premier leaves for Europe trade trip

Promoting investment in growing industries such as defence and renewable energy will be a key focus of a trip to Europe by South Australian Premier Jay Weatherill.

The premier leaves Adelaide on Friday for the week-long trip to the UK, France and Italy.

"We're entering an exciting new era of trade with Europe. This mission is an opportunity to strengthen existing ties and explore new areas of growth," Mr Weatherill said.
