SA police officers hurt during arrest

A man lashed out at two police officers trying to arrest him on SA's Yorke Peninsula, leaving the pair with minor injuries.

The officers had arrived Moonta home on Thursday after getting reports of a disturbance.

After the officers controlled the man, 38, they found he was carrying a knife and charged him over the assault and the weapon.
