SA man denies manslaughter charge

A man charged over the fatal shooting of a friend in a forest south of Adelaide has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter.
Hayden Dove Fenton appeared in the Supreme Court for the first time on Monday where he denied unlawfully killing Bailey Davenport in July 2017.
Fenton was remanded on continuing bail to return to court for a directions hearing later this month.

Mr Davenport, 21, died after being shot in the head while with a group of friends at Parawa.
He was driven to the South Coast District Hospital and later flown to the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide where he died the following day.
