SA man critical after vicious assault

A man is in an induced coma after he was seriously assaulted at a home in South Australia's Mount Gambier.
The man was treated for serious head injuries at a house in Wehl Street at 11pm on Wednesday, and was flown to Flinders Medical Centre in a critical condition, police say.
Detectives are continuing to investigate and believe the assault was not a random attack.
