SA man, 89, dies in hospital after crash

An elderly man has died in hospital a day after his mobility scooter was hit by a four-wheel-drive in Adelaide.
The 89-year-old man was riding his scooter at Waterloo Corner Road and Salisbury Highway in Salisbury about 8am on Thursday when he was hit, then taken to Royal Adelaide Hospital with head injuries.
He died on Friday afternoon, taking South Australia's road toll to 14, and Major Crash Investigators are looking into the collision.
