SA launches campaign to support steel

The South Australian government has launched a social media campaign calling on the nation to unite to support the local steel industry.

Using the hashtag supportoursteel, Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis says the campaign will urge the use of locally-produced steel ahead of low-cost imports.

Mr Koutsantonis has also called on all state governments and the commonwealth to support the local industry with any infrastructure projects.
