SA helicopter used in alleged police chase

A young man is behind bars after allegedly leading police on a chase through Adelaide in a stolen car, with the force employing a helicopter, a police dog and extra patrols to bring the drama to an end.
The stolen Hyundai was spotted at Salisbury South just after 10pm on Friday, with the 21-year-old driver allegedly refusing to stop, instead speeding off and leading police on a chase for almost an hour.
The man allegedly abandoned the vehicle at Cheltenham before he was caught and charged with numerous offences, refused bail, and scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
