SA hay fire continues to burn

Bales of hay are continuing to burn at a processing plant in South Australia's mid-north three days after a major blaze caused $11 million damage.

The Country Fire Service says the fire at Bowmans is under control and crews are using thermal cameras to find hotspots so they can pull burning bales apart to damp them down.

They expect to remain in the area for the next few days and say the fire is still causing smoke to blanket the surrounding area.
