SA govt asked to appear at Gillman inquiry

South Australia's opposition is calling on Premier Jay Weatherill and Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis to appear before a parliamentary inquiry into a controversial Adelaide land deal.

The state's Independent Commissioner Against Corruption last week cleared Mr Weatherill and Mr Koutsantonis of any wrongdoing over the Gillman land deal.

But it did find two Renewal SA officials engaged in conduct that amounted to maladministration.

Opposition treasury spokesman Rob Lucas on Monday called on the Premier and Treasurer to answer questions about their involvement in the deal.
