Suspected lightning fire destroys SA shed

Lightning is believed to have caused a blaze that destroyed at least $2 million in farm machinery on South Australia's Yorke Peninsula.

Neighbours heard loud popping noises coming from the shed near Kainton after a thunderstorm late on Thursday night, the CFS says.

The shed and equipment - including tractors, trucks and sprayers - were destroyed.
