"I always feel a bit guilty, you know, rushing from work here and there leaving work to pick up the kids, so just somewhere where they're happy to play, it's fantastic," she said.

Education Minister Blair Boyer agreed the program was better suited to families in 2024.

"The traditional school hours of nine to three were designed when many families had one parent at home, which is rarely the case now," he explained.
