South Australia's Electoral Commissioner Kay Mousley is to quit after 10 years in the job.
Ms Mousley will leave in August to pursue what she says are other interests.
She says she leaves with a sense of sadness but the time is right for her to move on.

"It has been a privilege to serve as electoral commissioner and I've thoroughly enjoyed the role," Ms Mousley said in a statement on Tuesday.
Her time as commissioner included the introduction of key changes for elections including the virtual tally room.
Appointing a new commissioner will fall to state parliament's Statutory Officers Committee.
