SA driver fined over flat pack furniture
AAP
One Adelaide motorist has taken the craze for flat pack furniture a bit too far, risking his life to cram it into his car.
The driver was fined more than $200 in Glenelg East on Sunday for removing the driver and passenger headrests to make room for flat pack furniture boxes.
Both the driver and passenger would have been "at least" seriously injured in the event of an emergency stop, police say.
