SA couple caught with crossbow, drugs

A man and a woman have allegedly been caught with a crossbow and drugs in Adelaide.

The duo was found in a parked car in Pooraka, in Adelaide's north, with the weapon, methamphetamine and ecstasy late on Sunday, police allege.

A rifle and ammunition were later found in the 28-year-old woman's home, while the 36-year-old man was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Both were refused bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Monday charged with firearm offences.

The woman was also charged with prohibited weapon and drug offences.
