SA company moves into medical market

An Adelaide company will get government help to switch from making car components to producing products for the medical devices market.
Blown Plastics Ltd will get $500,000 from the state government's $11 million automotive supplier diversification program.
Automotive Transformation Minister Kyam Maher says the company has been a supplier to car producer Holden, which is due to end car manufacturing in 2017.

The company has 70 staff and is working hard to diversify its operations, the minister says.
