An Adelaide chiropractor charged with indecently filming his clients now faces more than 200 charges.

The man, who can't be identified, faced the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday on 147 indecent filming offences and multiple counts of producing and possessing child exploitation material.

The prosecution applied for his home detention bail to be revoked, arguing the case against him had escalated with his alleged victims aged from 11 to 60.

Defence lawyer Craig Caldicott said his client had a low risk of re-offending.

But Chief Magistrate Mary-Louise Hribal ruled the charges were too serious for the man's bail to continue.

She remanded him in custody to return to court on December 12.
