SA bushfire brought under control

A bushfire on South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula has been downgraded.

The CFS says the scrub fire at Sellicks Hill was brought under control on Tuesday afternoon after burning through about 400 hectares over two days.

Firefighters battled the blaze overnight, and at one stage it broke through containment lines.

It's believed the fire was started by an angle grinder.
