Firefighters quench biodiesel blaze

Fire crews have extinguished a shed fire at a South Australian biodiesel plant.

Eight fire trucks attended the Naracoorte property on Thursday night as well as ambulance, police and council staff.

Residents near Repeater Station Road are warned to stay inside and close all doors and windows until smoke from the fire clears.

Country Fire Service spokesman Dan Hamilton says smoke will linger in the area until the early hours of Friday morning.

The cause of the blaze is still unknown and damage to the shed is estimated at $20,000.

Fire investigators will return to the scene on Friday morning.
