A man has been arrested in Queensland and will be charged with the murder of a man in his Adelaide home with the death linked to a drug crop at the property.

Police will allege up to seven men were seen transferring cannabis plants from the victim's car into a white commodore and another dark coloured car earlier this month.

It is believed the offenders are part of a criminal group based in Murray Bridge, with a number of properties in the town raided by police in connection with the ongoing murder investigation, Detective Superintendent Des Bray says.
