Man on the run after robbing take away shop in Adelaide's south with a knife

Police are searching for a man who robbed a take away shop with a knife in Adelaide's south last night.

The man entered the shop on Main South Road in O'Halloran Hill just before 8pm and threatened staff with the knife before he fled with cash.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 183cm tall and wearing a dark shirt and dark denim jeans.

Nobody was injured during the robbery.
