Police arrest man after week-long hunt

A man who allegedly threatened police with a gun has been arrested after a week on the run.

Conan Taylor was taken into custody at a property at Blakeview, in Adelaide's north, on Thursday afternoon.

He is expected to be charged with possessing a firearm to commit a major indictable offence, police say.

The search for Taylor began on Thursday last week after the 36-year-old was stopped by police outside Kadina on Yorke Peninsuls.

It was alleged he threatened officers with a gun before running from the scene.
