Man arrested after fatal SA crash

A 26-year-old man who crashed his four-wheel drive, killing his male passenger, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.

The 20-year-old man, who had not been wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene after the two-car crash in Adelaide's north today, police say.

The 57-year-old driver of the second car was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The state's road toll stands at 71, compared to 70 this time last year.
