Opposition to SA greyhound racetrack grows
AAP
A greyhound racetrack proposed for South Australia's southeast must not go ahead until the industry shows how it will improve animal welfare, the RSPCA says.
Greyhound Racing SA's proposed Murray Bridge track is being considered by the government, but the RSPCA says the industry's talk of reducing euthanasia rates and improving welfare is not good enough and must be accompanied by a concrete plan.
An online petition to stop the racetrack has received almost 35,000 signatures so far.
