Open State to boost SA economy: premier
AAP
About 10,000 people are expected to take part in a program of events in Adelaide in October that will focus on collaboration and innovation to help grow the South Australian economy.
Called Open State, the 10-day program will incorporate the Adelaide Festival of Ideas which seeks to tackle social, economic and financial challenges that lie ahead.
Premier Jay Weatherill says Open State will provide a $6 million boost to SA and will give people a chance to engage with leading thinkers on how to improve the way the state is governed and does business.
