Two dead in South Australia crashes

A man has died after his car smashed into a tree in Adelaide's south.

The male driver died at the scene of the crash in Morphett Vale shortly before 7pm on Tuesday, while his female passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Earlier on Tuesday motorcyclist died after a crash in South Australia's mid north.

The man was riding before midday on Tuesday before he crashed along Barunga Gap Road in Snowtown, 145km north of Adelaide, police say.
