Mother charged over helping alleged killer

The mother of the man charged with the murder of South Australian woman Jody Meyers will apply for bail next week after being charged with assisting in the crime.
Margaret Archer, 55, appeared by video link in Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with assisting an offender.
Her 30-year-old son Neil is charged with murdering his 20-year-old partner, whose body was found under a concrete slab at a Mannum property, east of Adelaide, in September.

Ms Meyers had gone missing a month earlier.
Ms Archer was remanded in custody to appear by video link in Adelaide Magistrates Court on December 22 for the bail application.
