Molotov cocktail thrown at SA cop shop
AAP
A Molotov cocktail thrown at a South Australia police station bounced off a ground floor window into bushes and started a small fire.
A police officer at the Elizabeth Police Station and a member of the public who saw the attempted firebomb chased the man who threw it.
The 25-year-old man from Craigmore was initially taken for a mental health assessment at the Lyell McEwin Hospital but has since been charged with arson and acts to endanger life to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The police station was closed for a short time on Monday while forensic officers examined the scene, but there was no damage to any SAPOL property.
