Men charged over SA prison escape attempt

Three men will face court for trying to escape a South Australian prison last month.

Police say the men, aged 50, 30 and 28, have been reported for the escape attempt at the Port Augusta Prison on September 20, and for interfering with a car on prison grounds and damaging another.

They will be summoned to appear in the Port Augusta Magistrate's Court at a later date.
