Pair charged with murder after man allegedly shot dead during argument

Two men have been charged with murder after a man was allegedly shot during an argument on a street in South Australia.

Emergency services were called to Oakley Road in McLaren Flat, south of Adelaide reports a man was injured before 6pm yesterday.

A 62-year-old man from McLaren Flat was found dead.

A 40-year-old man and 69-year-old man, both from McLaren Flat, were arrested at the scene.

Both men have since been charged with several offences including murder and possessing an unregistered firearm.

They did not apply for bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court today.

Police said a firearm suspected of being used in the assault has been recovered.

Officers said both men were known to the 62-year-old man and there is no risk to the public.
