Man stabbed in stomach in Adelaide's north

A man has needed urgent surgery after being stabbed in the stomach in Adelaide's north.

Emergency crews were called to an Elizabeth Downs home on Wednesday night where they found the 20-year-old with a stomach stab wound and cut to his leg.

The Elizabeth Downs man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he had emergency surgery and is now in stable condition in the intensive care unit, with police yet to determine the circumstances of the attack.
