Man stabbed in chest in Adelaide attack

A man has been stabbed in the chest in a targeted attack in Adelaide's north.

The 56-year-old has undergone emergency surgery at Royal Adelaide Hospital after he was found with a single stab wound to the chest at Kilburn about 4pm on Saturday, police say.

Investigations are continuing and police are calling for witnesses to come forward.
