Man crashes car dodging SA police

A disqualified driver has crashed his car into a tree after allegedly speeding through a red light to avoid police in Adelaide.

The car was seen driving in Myrtle Bank on Tuesday morning and police say they intended to pull it over, but the driver sped through a red light and turned onto another street before crashing into a tree.

The 27-year-old driver from Modbury North was not injured, and was reported for aggravated driving without due care and driving while disqualified.
