Man pleads not guilty to outback murder

A 35-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of a woman in South Australia's north last year.

It's alleged Danny Ferguson killed Serena Amos at Oodnadatta in July 2015.

Ms Amos, 34, was taken to a clinic in the town where she died a short time later.

Ferguson is being held in custody and will return to the Supreme Court on May 9 for a directions hearing.
