Man in hospital after being stabbed in SA

A suspect is on the run after a man was stabbed and rushed to hospital in northeast Adelaide.

The man in his 30's is fighting for his life at the Royal Adelaide Hospital after he was stabbed in Northgate at about 4.30 pm on Tuesday.

Emergency services were called to a home on Lakeside Circuit to find the man with stab wounds to the chest and upper leg.

Police are currently searching for suspect who is known to the victim.
