Man escapes from Adelaide's Yatala prison

A man has escaped a low-security section of Adelaide's Yatala Labour Prison.

Police are searching the suburbs of Northfield and Valley View for Jake Devenney-Gill, police said.

They were called about 8pm to find Devenney-Gill.

He is described as about 170cm tall with a slim build and blond hair in a rat or pony tail, wearing black shorts and a blue t-shirt or singlet.
