Man dead after SA motorcycle crash

A man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a car on a South Australian freeway.

The car and motorcycle collided at the start of the freeway at Glen Osmond in Adelaide at about 7am.

The motorcyclist, a 56-year-old Adelaide man, died at the scene. The male driver of the car had minor injuries and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.

The incident came less than a day after a man died in a single-vehicle crash on the Barrier Highway north of Adelaide.

Police were called to the crash near Riverton around 9.30 on Friday night but the man died at the scene.
