Man denies SA boarding house murder

A man has pleaded not guilty to murdering a boarding house resident in Adelaide.

Luke Robert John Ford is accused of murdering a 47-year-old man at the Carrington Cottages in the city centre in October last year.

The victim suffered severe head and facial injuries and was found in an upstairs room of the lodging house.

Ford pleaded not guilty to murder in the South Australian Supreme Court on Monday and was ordered to return to court on September 25 for a directions hearing.
