Man charged with assaulting Adelaide cops

A man has been charged with assaulting two police officers who were responding to reports of domestic violence in Adelaide.

The 21-year-old Marion man is accused of punching one officer who approached him and a woman in a car at Somerton Park on Monday afternoon, and assaulting another officer as he was being arrested.

The man has been charged with aggravated assault to cause harm, aggravated assault, resisting arrest and property damage. He will appear before Adelaide Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
