Man arrested for car rental business fire

A man is accused of setting a car rental business on fire in Adelaide's CBD.

Fire crews say they were called to Woodsons Lane at around 1:30am on Tuesday and found the rear yard of the business alight. They evacuated people in neighbouring apartment buildings and quickly extinguished the blaze.

A 33-year-old Semaphore Park man was arrested at the scene and charged with trespass and arson and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later on Tuesday, police say.
