Genetics professor named Adelaide uni VC

Internationally recognised genetics and stem cell researcher Peter Rathjen has been appointed the University of Adelaide's next Vice-Chancellor and President.
Professor Rathjen is an alumni of the university and has previously been the Foundation Executive Dean of its Faculty of Sciences.
He has also been the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) at the University of Melbourne and is currently Vice-Chancellor at the University of Tasmania.
