Four charged over SA drugs, weapons find

Three men and a woman have been arrested in Adelaide following the discovery of a large amount of drugs and weapons.

Police swooped on a street in the inner western suburb of Lockleys about 2.30am on Tuesday, following reports of suspicious activity.

Three vehicles were searched and a large quantity of amphetamine, ecstasy pills, knuckle dusters, knives and defensive spray was allegedly seized.

A 22-year-old man from Ascot Park has been charged with possessing a controlled drug for sale, carrying an offensive weapon and possessing a prohibited weapon.

The woman, 21, from Thebarton was charged with possessing a controlled drug for sale.

A 22-year-old man from Blair Athol was charged with possessing a prohibited weapon, while a 20-year-old man was arrested for an outstanding warrant and reported for weapons offences.
