Former SA governor takes Adelaide Uni role

The University of Adelaide has named the former governor of South Australia, Rear Admiral Kevin Scarce, as its new Chancellor.
Adml Scarce will commence in the role on December 1, replacing former federal senator Robert Hill.
Deputy Chancellor Dianne Davidson said Adml Scarce would join the university at a critical time as major reforms were made to the tertiary education sector.

Adml Scarce was replaced by former Vietnamese refugee Hieu Van Le as the state's governor.
