Five arrested over Adelaide beach rape

Three men and two youths have been charged with raping a woman on an Adelaide beach just hours into the new year.

The woman told police she had been sexually assaulted by a group of men on Glenelg Beach in the early hours of New Year's Day.

Police say five males, aged 17 to 22, have been charged with rape.

The men will face Adelaide Magistrates' Court on March 20, while the juveniles are due to appear in the Youth Court on the same date.
