Fire destroys Adelaide home

A home has been destroyed in an early morning house fire in Adelaide's northern suburbs which police are treating as suspicious.

Fire crews were called to a fire at a single storey home in Olive Street, Seaton just after 4.50am on Wednesday.

The Metropolitan Fire Service said it took 16 firefighters half an hour to control the blaze.

The damage bill is estimated to be $200,000.

Police say they believe the fire is suspicious.
