Election could delay SA budget

South Australian Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis has not ruled out delaying the South Australian budget because of the looming federal election campaign.

The treasurer is due to hand down his budget on June 23, which would fall in the midst of the campaign if a July 2 poll is called.

"As yet the election campaign hasn't been called. When it's called, I'll be making an announcement then," Mr Koutsantonis said on Wednesday.
