Drowned SA woman had been on inflatable

A woman who died after drowning at Adelaide's Aldinga Beach on Thursday night had fallen off an inflatable swimming accessory, police say.

The 28-year-old was unconscious when she was brought from the water about 6.40pm, and emergency services were unable to revive her.

Police are preparing a report for the coroner and urge anyone who saw the incident to contact them.
