Drones bugging birds in SA parks

Drone enthusiasts in South Australia will need a permit to fly their machines in a national park under new regulations.

The Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources says the new rules will help protect native wildlife, after reports of drones disturbing local birds.

The department says there's been a rise in drone use in parks over the past year, especially on Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island.
