Donkeys to help GetUp 'call out' Xenophon

Members of GetUp! will be joined by two donkeys in Adelaide as the lobby group "calls out" Senator Nick Xenophon's support for business tax cuts.

GetUp says the senator betrayed South Australians by cutting a deal to back the cuts for businesses with a turnover up to $50 million a year, which passed parliament last week.

It says dozens of GetUp members will gather in Adelaide on Friday with donkeys wearing signs saying "when you horse-trade you might end up with a donkey", inspired by a quote in the Senator Xenophon's maiden speech to federal parliament.
