Man found after feeing crash site

A driver who fled the scene of a car crash in the Adelaide Hills has been found as police investigate links with a string of break-ins.

Fears were held for the man after he fled the scene of the crash at Meadows, where a car and truck collided on Thursday morning.

Three passengers in the car were treated in hospital for minor injuries and the driver of the truck was treated for shock.

A search of the damaged car uncovered items police believe were stolen, including alcohol, and officers are investigating links to a series of business break-ins at Stirling, Coromandel Valley, Meadows and Oakbank.

Police plan to interview the four people in the car but are yet to lay charges.
