Company tax cuts for SA

SA Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis says South Australia is the best state to do business after fast-tracking company tax cuts.

SA's mid-year budget review allocated $25 million for the immediate removal of stamp duty for commercial property transfers in the hope of sparking business activity.

The tax cut was originally intended to come into effect in July next year.

Mr Koutsantonis has allocated $400,000 to promote the tax cut on billboards, office towers, at airports and via media outlets around the country.

"There is no better place to set up a business or consolidate and grow existing business than South Australia," he said.
